Our Mission Is to Give Back – Blood Cancer United Fundraising
With the incredible support of friends, family, and our community, I had the honor of Blood Cancer United fundraising, raising $138,749 for Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). This achievement was never mine alone. It was made possible by countless people who donated, shared, showed up, and believed in the mission. Because of that collective effort, I was humbled to be named Visionary of the Year, an honor that represented every single person who stood beside me along the way.
This campaign was profoundly personal.
I participated in honor of friends and family — some who continued fighting, and some who were no longer here to share their stories themselves. I also fundraised in recognition of my own ongoing fight against prostate cancer, a journey that reshaped my perspective and strengthened my resolve.
Advocacy fueled my commitment to this cause. I believed in using my voice, my platform, and my network to create real impact — not just awareness, but action. Through continued Blood Cancer United fundraising, I was able to support research, provide patient resources, and help move us closer to a future where these diseases no longer took the people we loved.
I was proud to have continued fundraising and advocating for this organization, and I was endlessly grateful to everyone who walked this path with me. Together, we made a difference — one story, one step, and one act of generosity at a time.
